A Community Garden

Home to 88 plots of gardeners of all ages and backgrounds, Ward Acres Community Garden is a mosaic of gardening styles. Check out the public art project in the center, “The
Meeting Place” and the side garden “Bug Bed and Buffet: A Pollinator Garden."

Visit The Shakespeare Garden in Davenport Park. This garden was originally planted in 1937 by the Avon Bard Society, and was restored by The Garden Club in 2004. In
2006 this project was awarded a New York State First Place for Historic Preservation by the Federated Garden Clubs of New York State.
