The Garden Club of New Rochelle was founded in 1911.  By 1924, the club participated with others as a member of the Federated Garden Clubs of New York State, Inc. for the purpose of supporting the Garden Clubs of New York.  The Federated Garden Clubs of New York State presently include 332 Garden Clubs with 10,000 members across the state. The Garden Club of New Rochelle is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that supports many outreach programs and civic beautification projects in and around the area.

We meet the second Wednesday of the month at St. John's Episcopal Church located at the corner of Wilmot and North Avenues, New Rochelle, NY 10804. Please feel free to join us. I give my pledge as a Garden Club member to save and faithfully to defend from waste the natural resources of my country - its air, soil and minerals, its forests, water and wildlife.
Mission Statement
The object of The Garden Club of New Rochelle, Inc. (The Club) is to increase interest in, and advance the practical knowledge of the culture and care of flowers, fruits, vegetables, plants, trees and the making of gardens; to promote skill in the art of arranging plant material; to foster measures for the conservation of material resources and to encourage civic beatification.
